CTC08V Module
CTC08V is a CanBus module with CanOpen protocol mountable on a standard DIN rail, which provides 8 inputs for Iron-Constantan thermocouples or Nickel Chrome-Alumel thermocouples.
The space required for installation is minimized by the vertical design of the module.
For each input 2 wires are available to connect the device directly to the module.
It is possible to detect the interruption of the connection to the thermocouple.
A sensor near the edge of the module, close to the input pins, allows cold junction compensation measuring of the temperature in the junction between thermocouple and tin.
6 groups of spring-cage connectors are provided:
- One 4 points group, of which only 2 are used for 24 V power supply;
- One group of 8 connectors grouped in 4 independent subgroups of 4 connectors. Each subgroup provides these connections;
- One 8 points group for the CanBus line, connected in pairs with the following scheme:
- left +24V_CAN
- middle left GND_CAN
- middle right CANH
- right CANL
- Four 4 points groups for thermocouple connections with two points per channel.
