Arm PLC system with EtherCAT and CAN

The Golia operator panel, EtherCAT and CAN master, is characterized by a 7″/10″ LCD display with capacitive touch screen. At the heart of this system is the 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M7 processor board, developed and produced by Mitrol, which combines the PLC, CNC and HMI functions in a single integrated unit designed to run both real time process control of an industrial plant and the operator interface management software.

The system, designed for the management of small systems and machines, is equipped with a configuration that includes up to 16 opto-isolated digital inputs and 16 outputs, as well as 3 analog inputs and 2 outputs. This arrangement offers a complete and scalable solution for small industrial control applications.

The keypad, made up of 6 buttons and related LEDs, located on the side of the display, is directly managed by the PLC. This feature offers the user the ability to customize the functional buttons according to their needs.
