The M2X module is a solution designed to monitor and record various parameters/physical quantities of a system or machine, allowing a complete evaluation of the operating status of the latter.

This device is designed to be installed directly on the machine and offers several key features:

  • 1. Vibration / Acceleration measurement

    The M2X is able to measure vibrations on three axes (adjustable full scale 2..16g), allowing complete monitoring of the dynamic behavior of the system.

  • 2. Audio Spectrum Analysis

    The module is capable of recording the audio spectrum, including ultrasonic frequencies, allowing the acoustic signature of the machine or particular mechanical organ to which it is associated to be identified in detail.

  • 3. Connection to external sensors

    Various external sensors, such as the SENSE6D module, can be connected to the M2X.
    The SENSE6D includes an accelerometer/gyroscope, providing additional information on the movement and orientation of the car.
    It is possible to connect generic sensors with 0..+10V or 4..20mA output, allowing the measurement of specific system parameters.

  • 4. SenseDUM Ultrasonic microphones

    The M2X also supports SenseDUM audio microphones, which specialize in detecting ultrasound. These microphones can be used to monitor additional details in your surroundings.

  • 5. Data transmission via WiFi

    The collected data can be transmitted via a WiFi connection to a PC.
    The PC will host the data analysis algorithms necessary to evaluate the operating status of the system.

  • 6. Data Analysis on the PC

    On the PC, there will be dedicated data analysis algorithms to interpret and evaluate the information collected by the M2X.
    This analysis can help identify anomalies, predict preventive maintenance or provide detailed information on the performance of the system.

    In summary, the M2X is an integrated hub of several heterogeneous physical sensors: a complete solution for the advanced monitoring of machinery that offers the possibility of collecting data from different sources and analyzing it mathematically to guarantee the correct functioning of the plant.
