CMG48 is a CAN module with CanOpen protocol, open frame, to be mounted on a standard omega rail, designed to make a series of combined connection points available and more precisely:
- 20 opto-isolated digital inputs
- 20 opto-isolated digital power outputs
- 4 analog inputs
- 4 analog outputs
An interesting feature of this module is the flexibility of the analog input stage, which can be modified via software. This allows the card to read different types of signals, offering greater versatility in applications; in particular, it can be configured to read differential voltage signals with a dynamic range of 0..+10V or ‑10..+10V. Alternatively, it is possible to configure the card to read current signals with a dynamic range of 4..20mA or 0..20mA. Furthermore, the module supports the use of potentiometric transducers, which can be powered directly by the module via a stabilized and short-circuit protected reference voltage.
