The CTC08V is a CAN module that uses the CanOpen protocol and is designed to manage 8 thermocouple inputs. These inputs are specifically configured for Iron-Constantan or Nickel-Chromium-Alum thermocouples. The module is designed to be mounted on a standard omega rail.
The module is equipped with an on-board sensor positioned near the input terminals. This sensor plays an important role in cold junction compensation by sensing the temperature and allowing you to correct for any temperature variations that could affect the accuracy of the measurements.
